General Terms and Conditions
TERMS
and CONDITIONS: The terms
and conditions set forth herein are the sole contract between New Jersey Travel/All-Ways Travel
or affiliates located at 317 Stockton Blvd.
Berlin, NJ 08009/421 N. Route 73, Unit #9, Berlin, NJ 08009 and the traveler(s). New Jersey Travel is a contractor of All-Ways Travel located at 421 N. Route 73, Unit #9, Berlin, NJ 08009.
Payments for airline and/or tour packages are accepted by NJTravel.com with the
understanding that participant(s) (travelers) have been made aware of,
and agree to all conditions of this agreement prior to participant sending
NJTravel.com or its affiliates monies or credit card authorization. NJTravel.com or its affiliates
acts only as an agent in regard to travel, whether by
railroad, motorcar, motor coach, boat or airplane or other suppliers
of services and shall not be held responsible for any injury, damage, loss accident,
delay or irregularity which may be occasioned either by reason of defect in any vehicle
of any company or person engaged in conveying the passenger or in carrying out the arrangements
of any tour.
NJTravel.com or its affiliates can accept no responsibility for losses or additional
expenses due to delay or changes in air, sea or other services, sickness,
weather, strike, war, quarantine or other causes. All such loses will have to be borne by the passenger,
as tour rates provided for arrangements only for time stated. The right is reserved
to make adjustments in the itinerary. For cruises, New Jersey Travel is not responsible for cruise itinerary changes. New Jersey Travel is not responsible for third party failures and we do not guarantee anything on their behalf. Prices are based on current tariffs
and exchange rates and are subject to adjustments in the event of any change
therein. The right is reserved to accept or decline any member of the tour.
No refund will be made for unused portion of the tour unless arrangements
were made before departure from gateway city. Acceptance of voucher or
ticket shall be deemed to be consent to the above conditions. New Jersey Travel, airlines, their agents and affiliates are not to be held responsible for
any act, omission, or event during the time passengers are aboard the aircraft.
The passenger ticket in use by said airlines when issued shall constitute
the sole contract between the airlines and the purchaser of these tickets
and/or traveler.
By signing this form you understand the details, inclusions and exclusions of the tour package that you are purchasing.
Taxes and Surcharges:
All taxes and surcharges (i.e. Fuel surcharges) are subject to change at anytime and without prior notification. In the event that taxes or surcharges increase, the Client MUST pay this additional amount, less forfeit their vacation.
Baggage: Baggage is at the owner's risk and may be subject to inspection. Please check with your air carrier for weight allowance and additional restrictions.
Cancellations:
Your deposit with NJTravel.com or its affiliates. is refundable up until
your Final Payment is due, which is 60-90 days prior to departure depending
on the tour operator used. If cancellation is received in writing via certified
mail and arrives at our agency in the time frame indicated below. A reasonable
processing fee of $50 per canceled booking per person will be charged, plus any charges incurred by the
travel supplier. During
holiday Periods, Full Payment is typically due 65 days prior to departure
and cancellation policies are stricter. If cancellation is received 50
to 16 days prior to departure $100.00 per person will be withheld, (plus
any membership and initiation fees if it is a Club Med Booking), 15 days
to day of departure, no refund. No shows - no refund. Due to Airline regulations,
some deposits are non-refundable, such as airfare on major airlines.
Also, any vacation around the Holiday Season may be totally NON-REFUNDABLE. Please
be certain to ask your travel consultant on the cancellation policies prior to placing
ANY deposit. Processing of refunds
take 6 to 10 weeks after departure date. The above cancellation policy is
subject to certain additional charges within the 44 to 15 day policy based
on hotel rules and regulations. After departure from home to your vacation,
there will be no refund for any unused portion including hotels, tour companies,
pre-purchased excursions, airlines service, etc. Each tour operator
has variations of the above policy of our major tour operator.
Documentation: ALL PERSONS traveling by air outside of the United States are required to present a passport or other valid travel document to enter or re-enter the United States.
As of January 30, 2008, U.S. citizens need to present either (a) a passport, passport card (available in spring 2008), or WHTI-compliant document; or (b) a government-issued photo ID, such as a driver’s license, along with proof of citizenship, such as a birth certificate
to travel via land or sea (such as cruises).
As of June 1, 2009, passports will be required for all U.S. citizens traveling to or from the United States via air, regardless of destination.
Note: The passport requirement does NOT apply to U.S. citizens traveling to or returning directly from a U.S. territory. Please note married women using a passport or birth certificate in their maiden name must bring along a copy of their marriage certification or risk being denied boarding. A passport
is optional, but always preferred. If time allows, we recommend that you
get a Passport. The participant takes full responsibility and must determine
the proper documents needed before going to any foreign country. There
is a risk that the participant can be denied boarding or entry back into
the USA if proper documents are not presented.
Trip Cancellation
Insurance: We highly recommend purchasing trip
cancellation insurance. Insurance protects your
valuable investment. If you decline Insurance, you must sign the insurance
waiver on this form. This insurance is minimal coverage is non-refundable, but protects
you against cancellation. New Jersey Travel must be notified of cancellation before tour departs and written proof may be required (Doctor's note, Death Certificate), depending on reason of cancellation and type of coverage.
Furthermore, NJTravel.com or its affiliates can not assume responsibility for any type of crime
that incurs while you are vacationing. Acceptance of the travel documents indicates that the client is in agreement with the terms and conditions listed in this agreement.
